Wink's Warriors
We are a small but determined team with big hearts that miss our loved ones who we have lost to ALS and one who is fighting ALS. We will pull with everything we have to pull that truck. What we want more than anything, we want to help pull for an end to ALS. "Wink" Mary Lynn Zardkanlou, my sweet sister we lost last year to ALS. She fought to the end and always had a smile that made what we saw happening to her a little easier. My first experience with ALS was an older cousin "Wally" Walter Cayley we lost him to ALS in 2004 I remember the look in his eyes the last time I saw him.
Recently we have learned that the husband of a cousin in Boston has ALS "Pink" as he is known (yes I know lots of nicknames) he is putting on a brave face at the start of this horrible road that ALS puts its victims on.
We will be very grateful for anything you can give to sponsor us we will pull a 420000 lbs of truck to help end ALS .
We pull for WINK WALLY AND PINK and all those living with ALS
This year, I’m participating in the 2022 ALS Canada Pull to End ALS. Our team has taken up the challenge of pulling a 42,000-lb transport truck for 100 meters to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the ALS community.
We will be pulling for hope on behalf of those who need our strength and support the most.
Competing to pull a truck may sound difficult, but it’s nothing compared to the weight that 3,000 Canadians and their families carry with them every day living with ALS. ALS is a devastating disease that causes gradual paralysis and has no cure. We need your help to invest in community-based support services in Ontario, advocacy, and research for a future without ALS.
Your help is needed. Please consider supporting me by clicking “Donate Now” to make a secure online donation. Let’s pull together to end ALS.
Thank you so much for your support!
