In 2019, my high school friends joined together and pulled a Dash 8 airplane to raise funds for ALS Canada and support our friend, Mark Ianniello, who was battling this terrible disease. Sadly, Mark passed away shortly after that fundraising event. This year, in memory of Mark, we are participating in the 2022 ALS Canada Pull to End ALS. Our team has taken up the challenge of pulling a 42,000-lb transport truck for 100 meters to raise much-needed funds and awareness for the ALS community.
We will be pulling for hope on behalf of those who continue to need our strength and support.
Competing to pull a truck might sound difficult, but it’s nothing compared to the weight that 3,000 Canadians and their families carry with them every day living with ALS. ALS is a devastating disease that causes gradual paralysis and has no cure. We need your help to invest in community-based support services in Ontario, advocacy, and research for a future without ALS.
Your help is needed. Please consider supporting me by clicking “Donate Now” to make a secure online donation. Let’s pull together to end ALS.
Thank you so much for your support!
